Zones 8-10. Reaches a height of 25 to 40 feet and is cold hardy down to 5 degrees F. when established. It is very popular in Texas and makes an excellent addition to the landscape. It is a slow growing palm preferring moderate to full sunshine. It is one of the hardiest palms and withstands fairly severe freezes with no damage and has a solitary canopy of 15 to 25 leaves at one time.
